Get your free AI readiness review

Answer 7 quick questions for your instant score, then tell us where to send it. We will call to book your review.

1. Your AI readiness score

1 Do your staff know which AI tools they are allowed to use at work?
2 Do staff know what data must never go into public AI tools like ChatGPT?
3 Are access and permissions controlled so AI only sees what it should?
4 Do you have a written AI usage policy?
5 Is your AI use covered by your GDPR and compliance obligations?
6 Do you know whether your AI runs on public models or a private, secure setup?
7 Does leadership understand both the benefits and the risks of AI?

2. Your details

Your details are held on ISO 27001 certified systems. See our privacy policy.

100% success record

Every client we have taken through an accreditation has achieved it - and kept it at every renewal.

We never mark our own homework

We submit ourselves to independent third-party testing. Certification is always issued by an independent body, never by us.

Physical tests, not questionnaires

We prove each control works on your real devices and services. Questionnaire answers can be inaccurate or optimistic; tests cannot.

Free assessment of where you are

We will look at your current position for free and tell you exactly which controls you need - with no obligation.

Why now

Your team is already using AI

Most staff have tried ChatGPT or Copilot. Without clear rules, client data ends up in public tools, which is a GDPR problem waiting to happen.

Copilot sees what your people can see

Turn on Microsoft Copilot with loose permissions and it will happily surface salary files and client folders. Permissions come first.

Attackers use AI too

82% of phishing emails now use AI, and they are far more likely to be clicked. AI-ready means secure first.

The payback is real

Firms that pick the right first jobs for AI save hours every week on admin, documents and email. The review shows you which jobs.

What we look at

AI use today

Which AI tools your team uses, what data goes into them, and whether you have an AI usage policy people actually follow.

Data and permissions

Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Teams permissions checked before Copilot or any AI agent is switched on, so AI only sees what it should.

Compliance and GDPR

Your AI use mapped against your GDPR and regulatory obligations (SRA, FCA, ICAEW), with someone named as responsible for AI risk.

Security foundations

MFA, devices and phones (MDM), security updates, email protection and backup: the basics every safe AI rollout depends on, checked against Cyber Essentials.

Public or private AI

Whether your AI runs on public models or a private, secure setup, and when private AI that keeps client data inside the firm makes sense.

Where AI pays back

The two or three jobs worth doing first, what they would save, and a realistic cost, so AI becomes a growth story, not a risk.

Questions and answers

Is the review really free?

Yes. There is no charge and no obligation. Most businesses who see a clear plan for using AI safely want to act on it, and many ask us to help.

We already have an IT company. Can we still have one?

Yes. Very few IT agreements cover AI, so the review is independent of your current provider and you can share the results with them.

What does "fit for AI" mean?

That AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or Claude can only see what they should, that client data stays protected and inside your GDPR obligations, that your team knows the rules, and that you know which jobs AI should do first to save time and money.

How much of our time does it take?

The online score takes about a minute. The review itself is a short call or visit with whoever looks after your IT, usually under an hour, plus any read-only checks you are happy for us to run. We never ask you to share passwords.

What do we get at the end?

A short written summary in plain English: your AI readiness score, the gaps that put data at risk, the security basics to fix first, and the two or three AI uses most likely to pay back. If you want a quote for any of it, we will give you one, but only if you ask.

Are you ISO 27001 certified?

Total Group does not hold ISO 27001 itself. The systems we use to hold client data are ISO 27001 certified, and we help clients prepare for ISO 27001 certification, which is always issued by an independent certification body.

What happens after the review?

You choose. Fix things yourself, ask your IT provider to, or start small with us: an AI Readiness Core check of one system costs £150 + VAT, and the full AI Readiness assessment covers the whole business.
